how they met
From Curate Events + Design, LLC: Sarah and William’s fairytale love story began in Fort Worth, Texas. After meeting through mutual friends, Sarah (an only child) soon told her parents “I’ve met someone”. The two soon moved to Dallas, where Sarah was pursuing her Masters in Education and William began working at Goldman Sach’s. In October of 2017, William proposed to Sarah during a family trip to Napa, which began a nearly two-year engagement for the couple.

In June of 2019, Sarah and William traveled to Vail, Colorado to celebrate their wedding day with 120 of their favorite people. Everything about this wedding radiated both Sarah and William: sweet, elegant, and classic. With help from planners Curate Events and Design, the couple established a design with dusty blues, blush, warm twinkle lights, and a custom watercolor crest that was seen in the details throughout the day. From their epic escort wall and live band to the hand-tied ceremony programs and stunning florals, every detail reflected the couple’s vision for an elevated and from-the-heart mountain wedding.
