Craigslist to Charming Schoolhouse Wedding: Creative Ideas & Details

Vintage wedding invitations and scrapbook on a wooden background

First off, we have to mention that the couple meet on Craigslist. It just goes to show you that love can be found in the strangest places.
Secondly, how about those invitations? Officially an Applied Arts Magazine invitation winner and for a very good reason. Karen, the bride and owner of Sputnik Design – designed her own duotang themed invitations. Within each invitation was a tag she asked each guest to write well wishes or advice on. She then used these tags to decorate the florals for the ceremony. Amazingly cute right?
The whole wedding was super cute filled with school house charm. Globes, red apples, pencils, chalkboard doodles, and school books decorated the venue. A vintage school bell was even rung for announcements. Beautifully captured by Sara Wilde Photgraphy. To see more school house wedding ideas visit the full gallery.
