Oh Summer, how we miss you and your warm breezes and long days. If you are wishing you could have a little bit of summer on this cold January day, this next real-life wedding day might help… or it may inspire you to book your next Hawaiian vacation. Either way, Andrea and Eric’s fabulous Four Seasons Resort wedding day is one you won’t want to miss.

For a little bit more of that Summer feeling, be sure to visit the full gallery where you will find even more of Christie Pham Photography‘s photos from this exquisite day.

Both Bride and Groom are young Doctors living in California. They are the sweetest most fun-loving couple with a love for the Hawaiian islands.

Planning The Big Day

Bride and Groom wanted to have a very clean, fun, and simple wedding for their friends and family. The majority of their guests flew over from California, Mainland China, Canada, and other parts of the U.S. to attend their nuptials. The officiant is the Bride’s uncle who lives in Hawaii with his family. For the Bride, Hawaii was the place to have her wedding. Growing up, she would spend summers in Hawaii with her extended family and could not see another place to have her wedding.

Decor And Storm Warnings

For colors and decor, the couple wanted to be simple and clean. They chose to focus on grey, silver, gold, and hints of purple, pink, and aqua blue. Favors were provided by Kula & Ko which featured their delectable pineapple cakes. The ceremony and reception took place at the Four Seasons Resort Ko’Olina

The couple was fortunate enough that the weather was clear and the venue remained tent-less. There was a heavy concern in the weeks following up to the wedding date as Hurricane Lane was coming through the islands and the guests were concerned about their safety should the hurricane linger. However, it cleared up and no cancellations were warranted.

The Big Day

Guests were treated to a lovely outdoor ceremony and reception with food, desserts, and bar provided by the catering staff of the Four Seasons Resort Ko’Olina. There was a full program which included speeches, toasts, parent dances, cake cutting, bouquet toss, and dancing throughout the evening. The couple enjoyed their first look before the ceremony, a lovely bougainvillea petal toss with flowers from their Uncle’s neighbor’s yard, and photos on a secluded beach fronting the resort.
