“You are my home”
From Tracy Enoch Photography: Mandy and Garrett wrote their own vows privately, without sharing notes. On their wedding day, they were smitten to find that they’d each included the same sweet sentiment in their promises to each other: “You are my home.” The feeling of home was reflected throughout the event, starting with the selection of the intimate yet airy barn venue. Guests entered the venue to discover soaring white ceilings and porcelain-white comfortable farm chairs set for the ceremony.
a touch of blush
To bring a girly, amorous feel to the event, as well as a touch of color, the bride chose faint blush and white blooms. A striking floral and greenery arch packed with peonies and roses anchored the ceremony and then served as a frame for the couple’s head table during the reception. Guests relaxed and mingled over a hearty, homey fried chicken dinner and danced all night long!

Of all the favorite moments of the day, Mandy and Garrett most loved their first dance to “You are the Best Thing,” by Ray LaMontagne. The upbeat crooning gave the couple the chance to relax, celebrate, and truly connect after all the hustle and bustle of the day. After a long night of dancing and festivity, guests sent off the new Mr. and Mrs. Barker with canopy of sparklers to begin their next fairytale: a dreamy honeymoon in Positano and Paris!
