A Sweet Love Story
Adam and Kasey’s wedding weekend celebration at Ardenwood Historic Farm was filled with surprises, beautiful decor, and the sweetest personal vows. These two are both incredible athletes that met on the track team at Chico State. After being teammates together during their junior and senior year of college, they graduated and moved into a new season of dating. They did a year and half of long-distance, Kasey accepted a new job in the Bay Area and the distance between them was finally over. After living in the same area for a year, they purchased their first home together. They threw a housewarming party and in front of their friends and family, Adam got down on one knee and asked Kasey to marry him.
Many of those close friends and family who were at that housewarming party were also in attendance during their wedding weekend. Kasey’s aunt officiated their wedding ceremony and her cousin sang a song as the processional began.

We love when our couples write their own vows. Our words have power and its incredibly special when our couples promise and affirm each other in their own words. Kasey promised to Adam that she would always put God at the center of their marriage and that Adam’s dreams would become her dreams. Adam recognized that all good relationships have highs and lows. He promised to stay true during the best times but especially the difficult times. It is in the difficult times that love is tested and people’s character really shows.
reception surprises
Adam and Kasey have been there for each other in those difficult times already and it has made them stronger! They were incredible teammates on the track team and now they will be an even stronger team in marriage! During the reception, Kasey and Adam choreographed a dance together with their entire bridal party and little did they know, another surprise was also in the works. Kasey’s brother learned how to play the harmonica just for this wedding and surprised the couple with a song he performed with their cousin. That was a great segway to get everyone on the dance floor which stayed packed until the very end!
