This next couple wanted their large wedding to have an intimate vibe, so they picked an unconventional venue, the Brouwerij West in San Pedro, California to host all of the friends and family in one location.

a Big wedding with a small feel
From the bride: We knew we had a big group to host, but we still wanted our wedding to feel intimate. We love hanging out at breweries, so we found the perfect space in San Pedro, CA. With a larger tasting room and a rentable warehouse space in the same lot, we were able to keep our guests in the same spot for the whole wedding. We wanted it to feel like a party with a photo bus, a food truck, mini pies, and beer. What else do you need?
Bridal advice
Reach out to your community. I am a photographer. I had a friend shoot and I edited the final batch of photos. A friend of mine coordinated our wedding who worked for her mom’s event planning company for years. My sister in law came out of retirement to bake our simple cake. Weddings are expensive, no matter how you slice them, but you never know what contacts you have in your reach until you ask.
