9 Ways To Create A Wedding Your Guests Will Never Forget Part 2

Share

Bride and groom stand in a lush garden

Part 2 of this beautiful 3-day celebration in Italy comes to close with Nathalie and Ben’s gorgeous coastal wedding at  Villa Treville (catch part 1 here). Their magical day kicked off with a fun breakfast for the bride and her bridesmaids and was soon followed by their gorgeous ocean view ceremony and reception.

It’s the celebration of love that never ends, and this couple gave their guests an adventure-filled wedding experience they won’t ever forget! Keep scrolling to see part 2 of this stunning celebration, and whatever you do, save room for the full gallery after from   Christina McNeill.

7: Celebrate and honor your inner circle!

From  ZBBeauty: This isn’t about doing things just to impress people, or thinking of something super elaborate just to be different. But if like Nathalie and Ben, you want to thank the people closest to you on your wedding day, it can be a lovely gesture to reserve one particular moment just for your most intimate friends and family. For Nathalie, it was choosing to treat her bridesmaids to a surprise brunch the morning of the wedding. She knew that starting her wedding day with her closest female friends was the right choice for her to kick things off feeling calm and happy and a way to acknowledge their place in her life.

8: Make it personal

Ultimately, your guests will have the most memorable experience if your wedding is really about the two of you. Make it personal and not just a collection of what you see on Pinterest. Being yourself and honest is the easiest way to do this. You might want to make some extra mention in your ceremony programs about why you chose the music you did. Nathalie and Ben chose an extravagantly romantic way to share the story of their relationship with their guests, and once again incorporated the location of their wedding.

Taking inspiration from Franco Zefirelli, the famous Italian director, and former owner of their wedding venue Villa Treville, the couple hired two ballet dancers and had a custom dance choreographed that reflected Nathalie and Ben’s own love story to the music of Romeo and Juliet, Zeferelli’s most famous film… I mean, the romance! Then, keeping true to the couple’s playful nature, the doors to an all-white room opened and a rock ‘n’ roll band, dressed in their 50s finest, got the dance floor started – and kept it going well into the night!

9: Do things your way!

There’s no right or wrong way to have a wedding.  Every choice Nathalie and Ben made was meaningful to them. Maybe you don’t care hugely about spending money on flowers and décor. Splurging on experiences was widely more important for this sweet couple and the photos, the energy of this weekend celebration really comes across!

Following their example of making meaningful choices may sound like a lot of effort, but its the easiest way to ensure you have the wedding day you want to have, and that you want your guests to be a part of. Plus, making sure you care about each element of your wedding is a huge help, because you can nix the things that aren’t a priority. You’ve invited the people you care for the most to see you get married. Just like Nathalie and Ben did, prioritizing what you and your guests will truly enjoy over trends (or being ‘Instagram-worthy’) will make your wedding an unforgettable experience, for all the right reasons.
