What’s more romantic than your biggest day ever? How about a NYE wedding in beautiful Lake Tahoe! This lovely couple decided to ring in the New Year with all of their friends and family in attendance, and they went all out planning their biggest day ever.
The Hyatt Resort in Lake Tahoe was the picturesque backdrop for their dream-like day, and we’re obsessed with all the details that went along with it. The brides stunning Hayley Paige gown, her gorgeous bridesmaid dresses and how about a decadent gold ruffle cake? Choosing Lake Tahoe
From the bride: We decided to get married in Tahoe because we fell in love with it after moving to San Francisco in 2013. After spending some ski weekends in Tahoe and then taking our first summer trip there, we knew it had to be at the top of our list. After doing a lot of research, we narrowed it down to a few venues and made a visit to each. The professionalism and organization of the Hyatt team on top of the unbelievably beautiful backdrop of the lake and mountains sold us right away.
Planning their NYE wedding
We were at brunch in San Francisco with one of our best friends and bridesmaids, Courtney, and we were talking about the best time of year to get married. I always liked the idea of a winter wedding and Travis liked the idea of summer. When Courtney mentioned that New Year’s Eve happened to fall on a Saturday the following year, we knew then and there that a New Year’s Eve wedding would be the perfect wedding date for us (and it was!!).

Our favorite thing about getting married at the Hyatt was the fact that they made the planning process so easy. Everything that we needed was included in our wedding package and the Hyatt team was so helpful and easy to work with.
