Fun and whimsy can be had just about anywhere, but the important part is finding just the right place where you feel at home and energized. Alyssa and Kyle’s beautiful wedding day was a perfect balance between romance and giddy child-like wonder and it all started with their venue, Southern Exposure Herb Farm.

This wedding was in the most beautiful little herb farm – I seriously wish I could have had all day to photograph just the bride and groom (Alyssa and Kyle) in this place because there were beautiful flowers and greenhouses and buildings and details around every corner and little paths leading through flower beds and gardens. It was truly a beautiful place to have a wedding.
I am particularly proud of these photos and love them so so much. We also snuck out of the reception with the bride and groom to get sunset photos, which was a first for me and 100% worth it. A couple other cool things about this wedding: I love looking through the dance photos from this wedding because you can tell what song is playing! Look out for The Wobble, YMCA, and Shout! Alyssa also had a basket of toys and puzzles for young kids so that they could enjoy the reception as well.
