Ok brides, want to have a fun wedding? Take notes! This gorgeous day was full of sweet surprises and adorable photo ops around the couples hometown of Chicago. Their awesome waterfront reception at the River Roast featured cocktails right along the Chicago river, and we have to admit we’re pretty jealous that we didn’t get an invite!

WRIGLEY FIELD PHOTO OP
From the bride: One of our favorite parts of the day was taking our wedding party to Wrigley Field and the famous hot dog spot, The Weiner Circle, for pictures. What made our day the most special was having all of our family and friends, the people we love the most, in the same room with us. We couldn’t have asked for anything better to celebrate our love and marriage.
Water Taxi ride
We arrived in style with our wedding party on a Water Taxi as our guests enjoyed cocktails on the patio! Inside we had the most amazing time dancing to our live band, Ken Arlen’s Evolution. Everyone literally danced for hours and most guests claimed it was the best wedding band they had ever heard. We agree – our reception was a BLAST! The planning process was fun – and much less stressful – than we had anticipated. With Megan Estrada as our wedding planner, everything came together seamlessly. She recommended the best vendors; we loved our flowers from Ashland Addison and the unique photos from Agnes Malorny.
Hometown pride
Justin and I are so grateful that we were able to have such a wonderful wedding. River Roast was the perfect venue to show off my hometown of Chicago. Outside, the city lights and Chicago River made for the memorable backdrop for our reception.
