From Red October Photography: In November, us vendors came together for a fully styled elopement giveaway. We thought, what better way to give back, than our talents to a deserving couple! Many couples submitted their love story and after votes were in, Kyle and Shea, were our winners. Kyle and Shea met when they were kids and neighbors. As they grew up they also grew apart and continued on to high school and college. After reconnecting, they talked daily, wrote letters and of course Kyle came to Shea’s graduation!
How he asked
From the bride: The proposal involved a bottle of moscato, a handwritten love note and a key which he gave to me during the road trip and told me to hold on to the key. We arrived at a park, where the blue ridge mountains were the backdrop to a beautiful waterfall. He placed a wooden box, topped with a framed photo of us, in front of the waterfall and told me to use my key to open it. When I did, the box was filled with stones and a simple note that instructed me to move the stones. Underneath, he had written “Marry Me?” and as I lifted my head, with tears running down my face, to look at him – he was behind me on one knee.
