When you’re throwing an engagement party for 125 or your closest friends in Florida, it’s bound to be a super chic event! But to add a little quirky fun to the entrance of this brunch, the bride and groom created this adorable balloon aisle!
Are you interested in learning how they made it? Of course you are and we have the instructions just waiting for you below. Plus you can see this entire DIY balloon garland engagement party by checking out all Yuli Tovich‘s images in the full gallery here!

Chic Engagement Party & A DIY You’ll Love

From the Bride: Our engagement party took place at The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour in Miami, Florida on March 6, 2016. It was a delicious brunch overlooking the ocean. Everything was gorgeous, from the centerpieces to the decor. We found the garland balloon ideas on Pinterest and we’re so happy with how they came to life!

We loved these garland balloons so much we thought we share how to make them! First, collect the following items:

Giant Balloons

Floral Wire
Fishing Line
Ivy
Baby’s Breath
Aisle Runner
2×4 Planks
White Paint

Wedding decor materials: giant balloons, ivy, paint, and more

Balloon Garland How to

Step 1:
Choose where you would like this rad decor element and roll out the aisle runner.
Step 2:
Measure the length of the aisle runner. Cut the 2x4s to the needed length and paint them.
Step 3:
Tie fishing line onto inflated giant balloons. Vary the length if you want the balloons to sit at different heights.
Step 4:
Once the 2x4s are dry, tie the balloons along the length of them using the fishing line and place the 2x4s along the edge of the aisle runner.
Step 5:
Wrap each fishing line in the wanted length of ivy. Secure it to the fishing line by using floral wire. Repeat with bunches of baby’s breath.
