Laid back feel
From the bride: When planning the wedding, we decided we wanted an informal, laid back, “back yard” party feel. The rest of what we love came naturally; Food, friends, family, our Caribbean vacations, and of course my love for Star Wars.
The best atmosphere
We were not the “traditional” wedding. I had a Man of Honor and my best of men, and he had a Best Woman. I opted for Star Wars character boutonnieres and cuff links instead of flowers. I wanted people to have fun, and have options for food. I wanted people to remember our wedding for the details, the food, and the atmosphere. We couldn’t have pictured a more perfect day.
Tropical florals
My florist, The Anti Bride, had full reign on what to do. I told her two specific flowers that I wanted and she took the idea and ran with it. The table arrangements were all unique and beautiful. My bouquet was not what I could have ever imagined; it was absolutely beautiful and different from anything that I have ever seen.
Attention to detail
Choosing a photographer had to have been the hardest thing to do. I looked at over 200 local photographers before I found Christina Karst Photography. Her relaxed demeanor and attention to detail was exactly what we were looking for. She let us be who we are and have fun. I told her I wanted moments and details, things that people wouldn’t remember and I am so happy that she caught them.
Cakes galore
Choosing a cake was not the easiest task. I like chocolate, he likes vanilla. So why settle for just one cake?!? We decided that having four cakes and a completely separate dessert table was the way to go. I wanted my guests to have options and not be limited to the traditional wedding cake.
