From Robyn Icks Photography: After a year of engagement, planning, dreaming and anticipation, everything came together as the day unfolded. The bouquets that Lacey chose months ago arrived even more gorgeous than she envisioned. The quirky cake with a Star Trek theme got the finishing touches downstairs as the girls finished up makeup and hair. And one of the favorite details of the day – the Star Wars boutineers – were even more charming and hilarious than originally schemed.

From the Bride: The most memorable part of the day was when our Best Man dropped our rings during the ceremony. He was so panicked looking for them, they slipped right out of his hand when his wife rushed them to him. We were all cracking up!
Roll With It
My advice to brides planning their wedding is to realize things won’t always go the way you plan, and to just roll with it. It made for a really stress-free day for us. One of the things I think made it a little easier for me, was not trying to control every little detail. Letting people pick things up and take care of things within reason REALLY helped.
