From the Bride: The day was absolutely perfect. The best part was just being in the company of all of our friends and family and seeing everyone have so much fun. The day goes by so fast so remember to be present in the moment and enjoy every second.
Make Up Your Own Traditions
Don’t feel like you have to do all of the typical wedding traditions. Dan and I wanted to make sure we spent most of the day with our guests and not taking up time with other things we didn’t care about. For example, instead of a receiving line after the ceremony, Dan and I had everyone stay seated and we came back into the church and released all of our guests by row. This way we were able to greet everyone individually and it felt more intimate to us to have that quick one on one time.
Fabulous Florals
From A Garden Party Florist:We decided to go with a soft blush/peach color palette with delicate touches of texture. The bridal bouquet was very simply done with peach juliet garden roses, white football mums, dusty miller and waxflower. Centerpieces were done in a few styles to add interest to the room. Long and low pieces accented some of the long tables, while bronze compotes, bud vases, and glass cloches accented others.
