David and Kellie’s wedding was an unique affair that fit them as a couple to a “T”. Both the bride and groom’s many family members all chipped in to help make their special day a beautiful time to remember and used the WeddingMix app and cameras to capture the most important moments! They were married at the Exploration Place in Wichita, KS. Even though they are both head over heels in love with their home city of Seattle, they decided to marry where Kellie grew up so that her grandparents (and great-grandmother!) could be a part of the festivities.
Kellie wasn’t sure if she would get to “walk” down the aisle due to having a rare bone disorder, but in the end her doctor gave her clearance to walk down the aisle and back, surprising the guests. Rather than necessarily doing all the traditional things that you do at a wedding “just ’cause,” they focused on doing things that were important to them, ensuring that the event had a comfortable, laid-back atmosphere.
Kellie’s brother officiated the wedding, where Kellie and David shared heartfelt written vows that didn’t leave a dry-eye in the house! They received many compliments from their guests, with many echoing that it was the best wedding they had ever attended. The night ended with an impromptu dance party breaking out, where even Kellie got to “dance” with her dad after all.
