melissa + john vintage engagement session

Share

When we first met Melissa and John, we knew they were going to be amazing to photograph because they love theater and are willing to do just about anything to get fantastic images.  We came up with the idea of shooting their engagement photos in a train station with a vintage feel in order to communicate the idea of embarking on a new journey together…  So after a week of searching I found this great little train museum in Carson City and sent them a picture on my phone and they loved it.  They went shopping at the vintage stores in the area and bought luggage and very cool clothes.  After we did the shoot, it seemed appropriate to use a variety of different film looks.  My favorite image is that of them walking towards the camera on the tracks with very serious faces–I processed this to have a Robert Frank look…awesome–just awesome.
