We are still in Rome, this time in one of the city’s most exclusive venues: Villa Aurelia, property of the near American Academy, on the famous Gianicolo Hill.
Villa Aurelia is an extraordinary historical residence that dates back to the seventeenth century, with a generous view of St. Peter’s and the Eternal City. It was built by Cardinal Girolamo Farnese, former Governor of Rome.
The villa offers several options for organizing unforgettable weddings, thanks to various spaces that surprise and enchant guests, including the luxurious rooms of the house, the panoramic terraces, and the lush and manicured gardens.
Given the time of year for this wedding, the bride and groom have obviously chosen the outdoor spaces.
After the welcome drink in the beautiful Italian gardens, guests for the Jewish ceremony were guided into the large Giardino Segreto hidden by high hedges, with the chuppah sumptuously adorned with white roses.
The dinner took place at sunset in the Giardino dei Limoni, in front of the main building, with its many lemon trees illuminated by candles.
Here the newlyweds and guests were entertained by live music until the dancing began in the adjoining Sala Aurelia, followed by the cutting of the cake and the buffet of desserts served on the adjacent terrace overlooking a magnificent Rome by night.
