When Nishant first contacted me regarding a New York to Maine treasure hunt proposal for his girlfriend Christina, I must admit my heart skipped a few beats. The coordinator in me panicked a bit when he mentioned one of the clues being a plane ticket from New York City to Portland, Maine. Through meticulous planning, help from friends and cupid’s omnipresence the day went off without a hitch on a perfect Spring day.
The last clue of this multi-state treasure hunt lead Christina to Nishant who was waiting in front of a lily and moss garland backdrop with Portland Head Light in the background. As Christina walked down a runner adorned with photographs of memories they had made thus far, Nishant presented her with a Spring bouquet of her favorite flowers. The rest was then captured on camera, as Nishant spoke some of the sweetest words ever spoken and on bended knee to ask Christina for her hand in marriage. She of course said, “Yes!”
