Sadye+Simon – A Wedding at Salvatore’s in Lincoln Park

They met in Australia, fell in love in England, got in engaged in San Francisco and said I do in Chicago! Sadye and Simon are two world travelers, two adorable blond kids that met half way across the world and are proof that love conquers all. And I was lucky enough not only to document their love, but to be part of two amazing celebrations that took part in their family this year. Quite the way to kick off 2011! Sadye’s older sister Ingrid got married on January 8th at The James Hotel downtown. If you’d like to see Ingrid’s stunning winter wedding, please click here. Sadye & Simon were married at St Hyacinth in Logan Square and had the reception at Salvatore’s in Lincoln Park. It was my first wedding at Salvatore’s and I loved it. Old world charm and black and white marble tiles in the foyer. My kind of venue!

This was really funny! The maid of honor, Sadye’s sister Ingrid got the newlyweds a very special gift. A plate with their picture on it. You know, like Prince William and Kate Middleton.
