Why is this such a good deal? Well, aside from saving money and getting more bang for your buck, there is a pretty awesome reason: Engagement photos prepare you for the photos we’ll take on your wedding day! Its not likely that you walk around with cameras in your face on a daily basis, so its normal to feel nervous having your portrait taken. It wouldn’t be good to realize that you’re camera shy on the day of your wedding, however! An engagement photo session will allow you to practice relaxing in front of the camera. My favorite part of the engagement session is learning about my bride and groom, and telling a little bit of my story as well. Its the perfect opportunity to get to know each other on both professional and personal levels.
While taking engagement photos, I’ll get a sense of what makes you look your look best in pictures. If you’re not a natural (most aren’t!), I can help teach you to look not only casual and candid, but beautiful.
