Sophia & Mike met in high school, but it wasn’t until 5 years after that they reconnected at a friends BBQ. Fast forward 9 years to the planning of their September wedding. Being local northern Californians they knew they wanted to invite their family and friends to the beautiful wine country to celebrate their wedding. Sophia and Mike are a hip, young couple with a love for good wine and beautiful views, making Gundlach Bundshu Winery the perfect back drop to their special day.

From the Vendors:Sophia and Mike have a fun vintage style that they knew they wanted to bring into their wedding look. We meshed vintage, eclectic with rustic elegant touches to pull everything together.
It was very important to them to incorporate as many family heirlooms as possible. They brought in personal touches like boiled wool hearts at all the ladies place settings and used her grandfathers Model A Ford for beautiful pictures amongst the vines. All of the vases used were borrowed from Sophia’s grandmother, great aunt, mother and aunt.
We absolutely adore when old vintage cars are used as get away cars, and this classic is no exception. Just think of how fun it would be to have one at your own wedding!
