Follow Us To Wonderland For This Whimsical Vow Renewal

BFW AtlantaPhoto:

Inspired by Alice’s trip down the rabbit hole, this Wonderland-themed wedding was fun, fun, fun! From the bright colors to the whimsical prints and textures, this team of vendors from Atlanta took this vision and ran with it. What we especially loved about this wedding was that it was centered around family and these vendors went above and beyond to incorporate kid-friendly elements that were still in keeping with the overall design.

Weddings By EpicRosely EventsSomething Borrowed Blooms, and Boho Mama worked together to transform the versatile Factory Atlanta into another world for The Big Fake Wedding: Atlanta. Flowers played a big part in bringing this fairytale to life. They each created unique whimsical arrangements that tied in the vibrant color palette of bright coral, light pink, and even hints of robin’s egg blue. These photos by Christine Quarte PhotographyMosaic Photo, and Sarah Diller captured every last detail that went into making this ornate wedding design such a success, from the adorable vintage teacups to the metallic animal placeholders. Memory Films got every moment of this special day on video and followed the couple and their family as they celebrated their 15-year vow renewal. A FASHION WONDERLAND

BFW AtlantaPhoto:

The floor-to-ceiling windows of Factory Atlanta made for the dreamiest getting-ready photos. The bride wore a stunning A-line tulle gown with an illusion lace bodice from Vow’d and clear vinyl heels that were giving us glass-slipper vibes. For her hair, Vigilante Cosmetics created a beautifully tousled half-up half-down look and kept the makeup fresh and dewy with a pop of color on the cheek for that youthful Alice look. The groom wore a stylish blue suit and even donned a gray top hat for some photos, as a nod to the Mad Hatter, of course! The bridal party consisted of the couple’s two daughters and two sons. The girls looked sweet as can be in beautiful mix-and-match blush dresses while the boys wore suits that matched their dad’s.

A HEARTFELT CEREMONY

BFW AtlantaPhoto:

Draped from the sky-high ceilings of Factory Atlanta were curtains in yellow, magenta, and orange, creating a super-dramatic backdrop for this epic ceremony. The groom and guests watched on as his adorable daughters escorted the bride, their mom, down the aisle holding her bright fuschia bouquet. The two renewed their vows and celebrated the family they have made together, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. After they said their, “I do’s” the bride and groom were surprised by a shower of streamers as they made their way back down the aisle, this time together as one big family.

ANYONE FOR TEA?

After the ceremony, guests made their way to the open bar where they could sip on a variety of teas, including a brandy-infused Earl Grey that was the house specialty! There were also self-serve beers on tap in an adorable vintage VW van that was converted into a bar. Faux turf and lawn chairs were set up in addition to quirky floor pillows that offered guests a fun place to lounge while they awaited the night’s long-anticipated finale. The couple explored the venue together and took a moment to toast to the rest of their happily ever after.

A SPARKLING SEND-OFF

BFW AtlantaPhoto:

In true Mad Hatter style, the tables were a mix-and-match assortment of excentric findings that somehow paired beautifully together. There were vintage tea sets and checkerboard textiles, and each table had a few tasty treats hidden about for guests to discover even before the cake was served. Colorful glass goblets and gilded china made up most of the place settings and each table sported tapered candles in lovely shades pulled directly from the color palette. After sharing a meal with their guests and dancing the night away, the couple made their grand exit through sparkling firework fountains as guests waved fiberoptic fans.
