Sarah of Intrigue Designs had a floral workshop at Luxmore Grande Estates and teamed up with Heather Benge Events of SSAA to have photographers come photograph the end result. This shoot was heavy on florals with tones of pinks, purples and yellow – the perfect summertime palette. A huge floral arch was created for the front of the venue near the iconic fountain, a second floral arch was created for the inside dining area, and the fireplace was covered with florals, as well. In front of the fireplace was a gorgeous multi-tiered cake with acrylic tiers by Lubelle’s Cakes. There were stunning details everywhere you looked, and the venue being as gorgeous as it is, only amplified the design.
To model, there was one couple – Alexandra & Lucas – and one solo bride – Carranita – who wore both a traditional white gown as well as a multi-layered pink gown.

Depending on the season, some types of flowers may be harder to get or unavailable, so be ready to be flexible and choose flowers based on colors instead, if necessary. Trusting your floral designer will be very important in this aspect – they can still take your inspiration and create something similar, while also saving you money by not transporting florals from other places. Keep in mind, you can always repurpose your florals! Your planning and floral teams can move and reuse florals from ceremony to reception so that you can get the most out of your flowers.
