Absolutely Desert Chic
A destination wedding weekend no one would expect is something Amo Creative wanted to create. Hidden in the middle of the beautiful South Africa is an area called the Karoo. You will find kilometers of nothing and then find the hidden gem that is Sweetfontein.
A weekend starting with a romantic and adventurous drive through the South African desert, Bride and Groom arrive at a picnic set up to perfection. These unique details will help you immerse yourself in what the land has to offer while also enjoying a VIP experience.
Ceremony + Reception
The ceremony is set on the top of a peak overlooking the open fields and also the perfect viewing point for what I feel is the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen. Adding the fact that the bride and groom is dressed to perfection by Casper Bosman and hair and makeup by Monique Linde you know Davene Prinsloo Photography had the perfect setup in front of her camera.
Pre drinks normally a time we wish over, but we wanted to incorporate some local talent by adding some Xhosa Tribal face painting I think all guests will enjoy being done. Being one with nature and acknowledging the land we reside in influences how we style a wedding. The idea was that the decor had to give you the feeling that nature is growing up as one with the setup. The amazing Amo Creative team outdid themselves in creating this concept and adding the trendy stationery by Fleur Design Studio was just perfect.
We had to end the night in style so moving from the field we had a disco setup and with some fun lighting and music from Dj Brakkies, just to make 100% sure you are going to dance the night away.
