It will still be a while before major international travel booms like it did before, but for right now, we’re perfectly happy making destination wedding dreams a reality on our own turf. And that’s exactly what the bride and groom, Courtney (who seriously looks like Hannah Brown’s twin, down to her delicious dimples) and Taylor, did in Memphis, with the help of The Big Fake Wedding. A warm and sunny day in April at Balinese Ballroom in Downtown Memphis might as well have been a likewise beautiful day in Southeast Asia at a beach villa resort. Bali Opulence
Marked by extravagance and grandeur, this microwedding (which was actually a vow renewal!) was designed with a full sense of tropical opulence, all the while being infused with touches of Indonesian culture and intrigue. Lush floral displays covered every surface and the color palette sung with sophistication. The mood was carefree to match the muse of a beach wedding, but luxury clung to every detail and distinction of a Balinese destination resort. Guests danced and celebrated under the moonlight all night long.
