It is made of the prettiest guipure lace, giving it a fun three-dimensional feel, and it clings to the body like this villa to the cliffs. It is the perfect modern, yet timeless, addition to this glamourous and dreamy wedding inspiration.
This shoot at Villa Astor was designed and organized by Sophisticated Weddings Italy and looks like something straight out of a fairytale. Gabriele Malagoli did such a spectacular job of capturing the essence of the location while keeping the focus on the bride and groom. A BREATHTAKING VIEW
It’s really hard not to fall in love with Villa Astor–clinging to the cliffs of the famous Sorrentine Peninsula, this venue has undoubtedly one of the best views in the world and boasts unrivaled splendor with its gardens having been voted as one of the 10 most beautiful in Italy. The villa and its estate offer one of the greatest 20th-century collections of classical and Renaissance antiquities and are home to over 150 historical pieces that have been given special protection by Italy’s Ministry of Culture.
ELEGANT ENSEMBLES
Our styled wedding shoot took place on a beautiful summer day in Sorrento: the soft, natural light and stunning scenery ensured that the final result was simply breathtaking. To complement the villa’s great splendor, Victoria and her team from Sophisticated Weddings curated a look of ‘timeless elegance’ which featured the most beautiful Galia Lahav regal, guipure lace mermaid gown, ‘Lindsay’, from Galia Lahav’s new collection, together with ivory ribbon tie lace embroidered booties from Bella Belle USA. Hair and makeup were delicate and perfectly put together by the BeautyLivery team and the jewelry was provided by Taya Gioielli. To complete our couple’s elegant look, Banderari sent a refined and exquisitely-tailored tux and accessories with the groom’s stylish shoes, handmade in Italy from Francesco Massarelli.
ACCENTUATING THE NATURAL BEAUTY
Our tablescapes and ceremony detailing were in harmony with the natural beauty of the villa and exquisitely designed by floral designer, Giovanni Castellano, featuring a delicate mix of white delphinium, eucalyptus, cineraria, English roses, scabiosa, and dried flowers. The welcome sign, table plan, elegant menus, and place cards were designed and supplied by Lilac & White.
