Sexy Elopement Shoot In Italy’s Hidden Gem

Share

Elegant couple embrace amid sparkling bokeh lights backdrop

Gilded details and stunning architecture from a bygone era give this romantic elopement shoot a timeless feel. To bring a modern edge, this team reached out to Carlo Pignatelli, a famous Italian stylist to create not one but three custom looks! The couple then frolicked through the town as the rest of the world went on with its day-to-day lives. But even with the hustle and bustle rushing by around them, these two only have eyes for each other. It’s a modern-day fairytale complete with one of the sexiest “glass slippers” we’ve ever seen!

These moody photos by Simona Rizzo Photography really capture the essence of this grand Italian city and Valovideo was there to film it all. Roserosse Design created stunning floral arrangements for this shoot that perfectly complement the colors of the town. Tala Design organized this shoot and made sure that every detail was as sumptuous as the last. Starting in the luxurious city center with an ornate glass ceiling and ending with a dinner at Edit Torino, this shoot highlights some of the best parts of this incredible city.

ITALY’S SECRET GEM

Elegant couple close-up with pearl necklace and earrings

Celebrating an elopement in Turin can be intimate, cool, and extremely romantic. Tala Design created the whole project and wedding design inspired by the elegance and the colors of the industrial city as it was in the past and added a touch of gold in memory of the royal families of the monarchy. Turin is one of the most historical towns in Piedmont; it was the first Italian capital. It conserves an ancient charm perfectly matched with an urban attitude. The flowers chosen for the incredible bridal bouquet by Roserosse Design and the hand-painted stationery by Elisa Bonotti Lab and designed by the sweet Stella For Mogu Wedding follow the same vintage-contemporary mood using gold leaf.

TWO LOOKS BECAUSE, WHY NOT?

The bride is absolutely perfect in her two dresses, both by Carlo Pignatelli, one of the best fashion stylists in Italy (based in Turin!). The first has a sensual skinny cut and the second one is glamorous and romantic for running into the city. It is a cloud of tulle from which we can admire the amazing shoes created by Luisa Tratzi, a luxury Italian shoe designer. The makeup, by Gloria Cortigiani, is glam and cool with crystals. The groom wears a tailor-made tux by Carlo Pignatelli too.

ABOUT THE TOWN

Elegant black and gold place setting with floral centerpiece

They celebrate on the bank of the river Po that runs through the city. The newlyweds share their first dance under the Galleria Subalpina near one of the oldest cafès in town while everyone else is going about their day. The wedding dinner is set up at the exquisite restaurant of Edit Torino, an innovative space in a renewed building from the beginning of the last century, decorated in Turin-style. The table set blends perfectly with its vintage and modern taste. The mono portion wedding cakes created by Sweet Wild Apples are a delight with delicate chocolate cream.
