When executing the vision of the bride and groom, the most memorable moment is their first expression at the ceremony and reception room reveal. Their posture and facial expression will either suggest, “Hmm, I guess we didn’t communicate well.” or, “Yes! They nailed it!” Any couple will happily insert themselves into this picture and be completely blown away.

Atlanta’s own, the renowned  Swan House at Atlanta History Center, was the venue of choice. It created the perfect backdrop for this magical occasion. The venue was enhanced by an array of spring floras, lavishly poured into the otherwise understated elegance of the décor. These accents were also splashed on the groom’s lapels and lovingly cradled in the arms of the bride.

The charm of the Swan House is indeed the perfect setting for spring weddings. The natural features of the outdoor landscape brought the romance to the spring-themed occasion. So, there is no surprise that the modern table setting was in perfect harmony with the natural essence of the venue. The optic-patterned glassware paired with the scalloped rim stoneware plates brought a level of sophistication and a touch of spectacle atop the white tablecloth.

Leading the way is the bouquet. As the bride cascades down the aisle, the bouquet catches the eyes. The spring colors in the Ranunculus, Garden Rose and assorted greenery gathered to create the round-shaped bouquet, a traditional bouquet style that complements the simplistic and delicate style of the bride’s white dress.

The groom’s boutonniere featured pink and yellow Ranunculus flowers, paired with Hypericum berries and Eucalyptus leaves, creating a beautiful contrast against his green suit.

Among the things worth contemplating when planning for an occasion such as this, is the type of flowers, colors, and size of the bouquet. The yellows, peaches, pinks and greens though subtle, emphasize the natural characteristics of the spring season, simultaneously symbolizing the blossoming love between the couple. The elements of gold represented within the space exude warmth. This combination helped to set the mood and invite the magic into the atmosphere.
