You read that right! The Grinch would most definitely accept his invitation to this wedding because damn it ain’t too shabby. XMAS, BUT MAKE IT SEXY
I’ve wanted to design a Christmas shoot for years, but when I got on Pinterest and started looking for inspiration EVERYTHING LOOKED THE SAME! I wanted to create something different. A modern, edgy, and even a little sexy version of a Christmas Wedding.
LOCATION + DETAILS
Williams Tree Farm was the perfect venue to shoot at with their big beautiful stone fireplace & warm cabin-like venue balanced out the intensity of our black and white color palette. We strategically used red & green in the design so that it was clear this was a Christmas shoot, but not to be too literal. We used velvet EVERYWHERE. From the invitation, envelope to table linen to the groom’s suit, & detailing in the invitations. The table runner was lush with gorgeous winter greens and a HAND SEWN fresh berries garland by our florist.
Again, we opted for blackberries and raspberries instead of cranberries as to not be too literal & expected with the Christmas theme. We used sugar in so many of the details to add a dusting of snow to the design. The feeling in the room was so warm, cozy & just downright romantic. An absolute dream.
