Colorful Microwedding at Jersey Wedding Venue -Windows on the Water at Frogbridge

Bride and groom walking together on their wedding day

Since March of 2020, weddings have been reimagined. Cramped banquet hall gatherings are now replaced by intimate ceremonies under lush trees, where the sky is big, but the celebrations are small. With outdoor micro weddings, nature becomes the canvas, and couples have the freedom and creativity to paint their wedding with personal touches.  To showcase this we have a gorgeous shoot at Central Jersey wedding venue, Windows on the Water at Frogbridge.

Keep scrolling to see all of the beautiful photos by Idalia Photography and all the details planned by Bogath Weddings and Events and staging by Stage and Style Designs. You can see all the images in the full gallery.

Plans for large, indoor weddings may be hampered; however, this suspension from tradition is inviting couples to reconsider what is important. Most would say that sharing love and laughs with their most beloved people among the stars and whispering trees is pretty great.

At Windows on the Water at Frogbridge, the willow and pine trees envelope guests in a natural canopy. The lakeside location is an ideal backdrop for a small ceremony, and guests can enjoy the pleasant water breeze as their loved ones exchange vows.

The festivities continue under the towering pine trees, as 16 guests indulge in food, conversation, and cocktails around a welcoming farm table.

Redefining Color

Couples are also redefining tradition in their color palette selection, as seen in the sprinkling of crimson, green, and cerulean, anchored by the reoccurring color of copper.

Pops of color appear in the wedding invitation suite by Inviting Treasures, floral arrangements by Bespoke Floral and Event Design, wedding cake by Chocolate Carousel, groom’s suit from The Black Tux, tablescape, and, of course, refreshing grapefruit gin cocktail. The beauty of an outdoor wedding is that nature makes the best complement to any couple’s design vision.

A huge thank you to all of the vendors who donated their time and services to make this beautiful shoot possible.
