This spring mountainside micro wedding editorial began with inspiration from the adventurous romantics who are so overwhelmingly in love, and dream of tying the knot in an intimate setting with their closest loved ones. Our vision began with a mountainside view, deep within the canyons of Orange County about 40 minutes from society; a secluded space that was far from the hustle and bustle of city life to create the intimate and scenic atmosphere we were looking for.
We decided on a slate/dusty blue color scheme with shades of grey and white as our base, which we complemented with tones of honey yellow, blush, and orange to bring it all together. The flower pieces created by Peonies and Petals were wild, spring flowers to create an organic look in addition to ceramic elements in the plateware and candleholders. Our gown was a stunning design from JINZA Couture Bridal, a soft, ethereal gown adorned with sheer sleeves to bring a feminine touch and the ladies at Flawless Faces Inc. furthered this with a soft, natural look and loose waves.
With imminent rain in the forecast, we got a few moments when the skies briefly cleared for us to bring our vision to life more perfectly than we could have imagined. Something about being together with just your closest loved ones, for one of the most important days, in the middle of the mountainside, just feels bigger than life. All of the details surrounding this adventurous and romantic micro wedding editorial were nothing short of incredible, and could not have felt more magical.
