LOVELY BACKSTORY
Years ago, Camilla and Sebastian spent a lot of time on Monkey Island as children. Growing up in Bray, they used to have so much fun running over the bridge and exploring the island with their friends. It was their favorite place to go.
Despite each moving away to University, both Camilla and Sebastian returned as young adults and re-found their previous bond. Friendship turned to romance, and they each stole the key to the other’s heart.
Today we are depicting what their marriage on the Island would have looked and felt like. With the importance of keeping it intimate, relaxed and taking inspiration from the surrounding nature.
A Floating Spa
This magnificent venue also has a floating spa. Yes, you read that correctly a floating spa. The first of its kind, a barged booked is parked on the river, offering all the relaxing services one would expect at an elegant spa. Below is a photo of the actual spa from

Key To The Heart
Amy also wanted to draw inspiration from nature and theme ‘the key to the heart’. Scroll down to see how she used vintage keys throughout the charcuterie/cake table.
As far as the color she wanted to mainly focus on a neutral palette with a hint of color. For her hint of color, she opted for a romantic dusty rose and a light plum. She brought various brass elements into her vignettes for warmth and balance. Creating a polished yet incredibly relaxed event fit for royalty.
