The inspiration behind this summer wedding
From SANTÉ Weddings & Events: This shoot was inspired by the Dutch town Naarden in The Netherlands. Naarden is a small town to the east of Amsterdam, in the Gooi and Vecht Region. Famous for its ‘star fort’ grid which resembles a giant snowflake from the air, Naarden is one of the best-preserved fortified towns in Europe.
After a trip to Naarden, I knew I wanted to recreate the elements that inspired me so profoundly and provide brides with inspiration for their Summer wedding palette. We used blush, peach and soft green hues to feature the enlivening season of summer.
romantic + sophisticated style
The idea was born from the desire to create a style that matches a sophisticated style with a young and romantic environment. We wanted to create a dreamy scenery in a minimal designed Boutique Hotel. We dreamt of a minimal look and elegant details, clear colors with unconventional floral arrangements, organic and delicate.
The dress from Modern Romance Bridal is luxurious, sophisticated and simple at the same time. It has been matched with a Gallery Tailors suit, which is elegant, young and fresh. Elena’s arrangements, from Elenastylz, gave light and elegant movement to the styling.
Chocolate strawberry bouquet cake
Mixing decorations from antique books, vintage candle holders, and oriental elements is a wink to Chinoiserie with a modern taste with pale colors. Chinoiserie is the European interpretation and imitation of Chinese and East Asian artistic traditions.
For a modern touch, instead of using a traditional wedding cake, we asked PolaBerry to create a chocolate-coated strawberry bouquet, embellished with blush florals, macarons, and fruits.
