Share

Bride and groom smile holding pastel wedding bouquet

The bounty and beauty of the rural French Countryside was transported into the heart of Texas for this next elegant wedding inspiration in pretty soft hues of purple and blue. Designer and photographer, Jessica Rakowitz of Under the Sun Photography brought this vision to life along with Wedding Planner and Coordinator Blaize Lynch of Borrowed and Blue Texas Events.

This talented team did an amazing job creating a romantic atmosphere at the Chandelier of Gruene that’s blooming with dreamy details, vintage furnishings, and a chocolate pear surprise! From the stylish bride and groom, to the cute wedding pup, this day has some dreamy moments you can’t miss! So keep scrolling, and be sure to peep at the full gallery for a closer look.

Capturing rural France

From Jessica Rakowitz of Under the Sun Photography: An editorial shoot that captures and marries the essence of rural France within the captivating Texas Hill Country. A setting nestled in the heart of Gruene, TX by the iconic chapel of the beautiful Chandelier of Gruene wedding venue. When walking on to the property of this venue, the open airy white chapel, cathedral windows, stone walls, and cascading chandeliers made this venue the perfect location for a french country setting. Not to mention the many sweet deer that lurk around the corners of this property.

That ceremony backdrop

Our favorites from the shoot include the sweetest and friendliest golden retriever pup, named Baylor wearing a custom floral bow tie by Vintage Bouquet Bar. And speaking of florals, we cannot stop talking about the ceremony site of living topiaries that are transformed from a traditional landscape to the most romantic backdrop for couples to say, “I do.” A new trend we can easily see brides running to their wedding florist to conjure and create for their big day.

Surprise Pears

Custom chocolates by the one and only chocolatier, Charity Teague Confections that are hand painted like of one Monet’s paintings. Oh and a surprise pear, we can’t stop loving! The surprise pear that is actually a chocolate treat filled with a mini elderberry cake. Chocolates and chocolate pears your guests will rave over again and again. Not to mention the most beautiful cake with delicate ruffles you won’t ever want to cut into.

And to create a relaxing space to unwind from the day, Rustic Romance Rentals placed and styled inviting lounge featuring stands for the cake, and a sweet detail for the couple, a traditional English tea as the couple’s signature drink.
