19 of the Most Epic Wedding Photos From 2019

Share

How is it December 31st again? I legit feel like I blinked this year away, then again, I was pregnant for nine months of it – so some of those days felt like they lasted a year + some. On the eve of 2020 ((OMFG)), though, we’re rounding up 19 of our most favorite wedding moments from 2019. And something tells us these trends will for sure be sticking around in the new millennium. Four words: dogs for the win.

Each NYE we look back on the shots that had us dizzy with 😍😍😍, and it wasn’t just us, either – they also had you guys, our readers and fellow wedding enthusiasts, drunk in love. That’s right, there was an epic champagne wall in there and if you know us by now, you know we’ll always show up for the tipsy trends. You also loved sassy girl groups, cavernous ceremony settings, brides who buck blonde and brunette basicness, custom watercolor bouquet paintings ((this is the new wedding sketch)), and lots and lots and lots of light.

Goofiness, too. A groom being greeted by his bride with a first-look squeeze 🍑, a couple frolicking around with dinosaur masks and jurassic smiles across their faces, and a boyfriend who had THE BEST TIME EVER photobombing bae with her own engagement ring before she finally caught on.

Oh! And Italy. You can be sure that if we post a pic of an Italian wedding, it will be lit up with likes in just a matter of hours.

Now, with 2020 just a ball drop away, we can only imagine what the future holds for trends worthy of all the love on our feed. But one thing is wildly clear: going big ((like four tiers tall, full of cascading flowers kind of big)) will always be a big wedding W.

Scroll on down memory lane… and just for kicks, try to remember what weddings looked like back in 2009. That’s a fun #10yearchallenge.
