Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are married, and we only have one ‘official’ photo to confirm it RN – but something tells us we’ll be getting bits and pieces of the special occasion over the next few days/weeks. ((We already learned through TMZ and a few other sources that Rob Lowe was a guest and golf buddy to the groom ahead of the wedding, and allegedly he also offered his home to the pair to host their rehearsal dinner #MajorChrisTraegerVibes, right?!?!!)). Today, though, we thought we’d obsess over Katherine’s bouquet, because it was SO simple, but spectacular at the same time. Cream roses with vibrant green stems: it’s classically sophisticated, while simultaneously clean, crisp, and modern. We loved it.
Colorful bouquets will always give us 😍😍😍, but the aisle-perfectness of an all-white bouquet is unbelievable, especially when the bride is a vision in white amongst a sea of other surreal and signature bridal-inspired shades. Her carrying a white-on-white collection of blooms is extremely fitting, not to mention, the photos are absolutely breathtaking.
Even floral designers can’t help but gush when they get the chance to work on monochromatic things with pretty petals. In so many variations of white, ivory, cotton, cream, and champagne, the flowers that come together for a stunning all-white example like this go sublimely well with a bride’s gown – picking up textures of lace, complementing crystal embellishments, and/or matching the scalloped edging or sculptural details of the dress (with the unique subtleties of each flower petal).

Haven’t yet sleuthed out the identity of Katherine’s wedding day florist, but once we do, we’ll definitely be sharing all those details. In the meantime, if you’re a bride who hasn’t started thinking about flowers yet, keep an open mind about an all-white bouquet. You really can’t compete with the simplicity and understated charm that comes with this kind of look. And you’ll be in the company of a gorgeous newlywed who now gets to call Chris Pratt hubby. So, there’s that…
Plus, going white with flowers may seem limiting, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Sooo many species of flowers come in white varietals, so you can get a very dynamic look even with just a single palette. Some peak through the winter (like calla lilies), others shine through the spring (like anemones, peonies, ranunculus), and some stand out during the summer (garden roses) and early fall months (like dahlias and daisies), but a lot are available year-round, be it in small quantities (like gardenias, lily of the valley, orchids), so you can embrace the ‘white out’ any season. Just talk to your florist about which looks you love, and they’ll help you come up with something that’s sensational – and budget-friendly!
