If Frida Kahlo and Mr. Gatsby had a wedding….we imagine it would look something like this! The Blushing Bird and a talented team of vendors used bold pops of color inspired by Frida’s paintings, and festive details inspired by Mr. Gatsby’s elaborate parties throughout this summer boho shoot.
The festive, fun and flirty atmosphere continues with Cali Craft Cocktails, mini piñata favors and the prettiest boho bride imaginable. Isn’t her flower headpiece from Winston & Main so pretty? From The Blushing Bird: This shoot takes the traditional and casual backyard summer wedding and turns it up a notch. It is both festive, fun and flirty. The perfect setting for two people to say I do on a warm summer night.

Colorful inspiration
Citrus accents and pops of pink serve as our color scheme as well as an inspiration for the food and cocktails . This summer soiree was initially inspired by the the colorful paintings of Frida Kahlo and the festive parties of Mr. Gatsby. Guests will be sure to be dancing until the morning light with the cornucopia of custom cocktails adorning the tables. We added a miniature Pinata as our ode to Frida and the child like feeling you get on those long summer nights, barefoot in the grass.
