Louis Landry is the Czars’ most recent drummer (joining in the summer of 2008) but is currently on semi-hiatus with the group due to his touring schedule with Charlie Robison for whom he plays piano and accordion. Louie has been playing drums since age 7 and holds a B.A. in Jazz Performance from Virginia Commonwealth University. Louis teaches drums, piano, guitar and theory at Red Leaf School of Music in South Austin (Want to take a lesson?).  He also sings and writes songs which can be heard at www.LLmusic.net. His primary musical influences are all the sounds he has ever heard.
