Fiesta inspiration
From Elite Wedding and Event Planning: This shoot is exploding with vibrant color, fun décor and rustic appeal at every angle. The inspiration behind the shoot was colorful vintage ox carts. Ox carts, found in destinations like Mexico and Costa Rica, have these vibrant colors and intricate geometric shapes and patterns. We wanted every detail to have a fun and colorful feel that shouted fiesta!
Time to fiesta
What was truly special and unique about this shoot was the couple. This year, on their 10th anniversary, they celebrated with a vow renewal and had their own private fiesta with us! They certainly were meant to be a part of our shoot.
DIY Details
There were so many DIY details in this shoot. Colorful dollies dyed and strung as a backdrop to the sangria bar, pieces of driftwood and painted antler accent pieces were just a few of the DIY details. The whimsical sangria bar was par for the course at this fiesta!
Bright and cheerful cake
The bright color palette was full of red, orange, yellow and blue tones. Our delightful wedding cake by Abby’s Dessert Bar was a replica of our invitation suite from Flyaway Paper Co. and adorned the remains of an old stone fireplace.
