The goal of this gorgeous shoot was to create an effortless look with a Bohemian, Romantic, and Elegant feel, and it fits the bill perfectly. The color palette consists of shades that reflect warm, plush tones and dance together in the late afternoon sunlight. Mixed metallic tones of Rose Gold, Gold, Champagne, and Copper worked beautifully to accent the Ivory and Blush combination used for the floral arrangements.

From Rare Sophisticate:Salt Water Gypsy is an online store with handmade kimonos that I knew would make the perfect Bridal look. We highlighted the intricate detail of the beautiful kimonos by keeping the dresses soft and understated. Kraft paper, worn paint, and all over lace layers were throughout the stationary, table linens, and signage elements for texture. Arina is the incredibly talented and down to earth Photographer I was so lucky to have found on Instagram to capture this shoot the way I envisioned it to a tee.
Christopher Jay Heller of Rawhyde Manufacturing C0. creates the most one-of-a-kind custom bow ties, ties, suspenders, pocket squares and more. Naturally, I enlisted his help to create a unique look for the Groom. The custom bow tie incorporated micro suede and a deep currant fabric which he finished off nicely with the Rawhyde emblem. The micro suede suspenders were the perfect compliment to the bow tie and Bridal look.
Laura of Cake Bake Shop in Manhattan Beach created three perfectly polished mini cakes that we topped with blush garden roses, coffee bean plant, spray roses, and seeded eucalyptus to add just the right touch to the “Bubbly & Cake” dessert table. The soundtrack in my head as I curated the shoot consisted of timeless music by Sade and Jessie Ware; Sade lyrics were used on the invitation and Jessie Ware’s album Devotion was the inspiration behind the floral lettering of “Sweet Devotion.” Appropriate music that gets the creativity flowing is always a necessity when I am working on a any event. Song lyrics are also one of my favorite ways to incorporate a personalized touch to decorative elements.
