From Live View Studios:Our bride was ethereal in a breezy, one-shouldered gown from Ruche, and wore a delicate floral crown for the first half of the shoot. For the second look, her braid was accented with a gold comb and feathery greens. A gold smokey eye and barely-there makeup completed her free-spirited, romantic look. Our groom looked dapper in a tweed vest and silver tie. The over-sized, cascading bouquet may be one of our favorite elements from the shoot!
They say necessity is the mother of invention, which we found to be exactly true when we began planning this organic, bohemian wedding inspiration. It turns out that the date of our shoot was one of the year’s most popular wedding dates, and most tables had been rented in our area. Undaunted we created our own farmhouse-style table, and decided to add an eclectic vibe to the shoot by using sawhorses for table legs. To continue our theme, an old ladder was decked out with foliage for the ceremony backdrop.
The table was set beneath an old oak tree, with a gold and cream chevron runner down the table’s center and a lush floral arrangement as the centerpiece. Taper candles in antique candle holders filled out the table, and place settings were comprised of heirloom plates and glassware, along with DIY gilded flatware. A pomegranate served as a table number, and our bride and groom’s places were marked with gilded deer figurines, which were also used as a cake topper. The herb-wreathed cake featured a golden tier and ribbon accents. Favors of rosemary-infused olive oil also doubled as escort cards.
