You might recognize this gorgeous couple from an inspirational shoot awhile back. That’s because this is the second of two amazing photo shoots from a talented group of vendors in the Chicago area! While their previous post had a country boho chic vibe, this feature incorporates the same DIY decor with a more urban, contemporary atmosphere.

From Britta Marie Photography:This shoot is a collaboration between vendors in the Chicago area, and captures two different looking weddings, with certain similar features. The more contemporary, modern silhouette of the column dress in combination with statement gold necklace, reflects some of the more urban couples that we work with. The two of these “looks” came together seamlessly with the help of some spectacular vendors who were not only a delight to work with, but thorough with every detail of the day.
The cake was just a simple white cake that we bought from Jewel. Catherine, of The Charm Studio, arranged the flowers on the cake. The flowers were purchased from a the market and arranged by us. We wanted to show how you can DIY for your wedding day, in both country and urban settings (DIY tends to be more associated with country weddings these days).We mustn’t forget about the charming wedding invites designed by The Charm Studio. We adore the mix and match of kraft paper combined with lace.
