Designing gowns for my brides is a huge source of deep joy in my life. But with all the uncertainties of 2020, I wasn’t sure if I would even be able to keep my small business afloat, let alone budget the effort and energy it would take to make a new collection for 2021. But after months of soul searching, I decided that the pandemic had already stolen too much happiness (including my own wedding reception getting cancelled!), and I didn’t want to give this one up to it!
My philosophy has always been: “If my gowns can bring me joy, then I hope they bring others joy as well. And what is better than spreading joy?” It seems to me that we all needed a big dose of happiness and beauty in our lives! So that was the spirit I brought into these designs. A spirit of celebration despite difficulty, of shining love that can’t be put out, and a big hope for a brighter tomorrow. I infused each look with even more romance, sexy details, and luminescence than ever, all in the hope that when we do get to celebrate in 2021 and 2022 we will all have an even deeper appreciation for these magical moments.
