For our next bride, Carrie, she fell in love with our Glamorous Surprise Backyard Bridal Shower that Brooke Keegan Weddings and Events had planned and designed. Wanting the same timeless glamor she decided to hire nearly the same team for her big day, and we are positive it worked out fabulously for her. Filled with glitz and glam and a whole bunch of sequins, Jim and Carrie’s wedding is a gorgeous day we know you will love!

From the Bride:Jim and I met while I was living in New York City and he was living in Ann Arbor, MI. We were set up by two close friends and we hit it off right away. I eventually moved to Ann Arbor to be with him and shortly thereafter we got engaged! Although we’re living in the Midwest, we chose to get married in Newport Beach, California, in my home town. It was important to me to incorporate places that have meant a lot over the years…so I was able to get ready in the house I grew up in, we got married at the church practically across the street, and had the reception in my parent’s neighborhood.
From Troy Grover Photographers:We first met Carrie and Jim when they asked us out for a coffee date only a few days before their wedding. We walked away with big smiles on our faces…because we already loved them so much. Truly one of the sweetest and most in love couple we’ve had the privilege of working with. We didn’t have a single nerve leading up to their wedding. We were just excited to start the day and capture all of the details and moments they had been envisioning for so long. It is always incredible to work with planner extraordinaire Brooke Keegan Weddings and Events, the talented hair and makeup artist Heidi from Kacee Geoffrey, stunning stationery designer Jen Simpson, beautiful flowers by Elegant By Design and the other creatives that made this day so awesome.
From the Bride:Before even knowing I wanted to work with Brooke Keegan Weddings and Events, I had pinned the Wedding Chicks Glamorous Surprise Backyard Bridal Shower she had thrown for her friend as a wedding inspiration – I loved the sequin linens and all the gold and pink. So, no surprise, we ended up choosing her to help plan the wedding, along with the same photographer (Troy Grover), paper goods designer (Jen Simpson Design), and obviously, a few sequin linens as well. I really wanted the wedding day to look and feel timeless, and for Jim and I, it was.
