Stacy and Andrew kept trying to come up with a theme for their wedding day and simply could not nail one down. After a while they just started picking things they really liked and reflected them as individuals and a couple. That’s how they came to have music from the video game Final Fantasy for the ceremony and having the officiant read from an iPad. Other than that, the main theme was a relaxed and relatively casual environment to gather and have fun with family and friends.

Some advice from Stacy to those of you planning a wedding right now:
Don’t buy too much early into planning. I saw so many great ideas when I first started that I wanted to do them all. I bought the materials and then it didn’t fit in with anything else I was doing, I changed my mind or I just ran out of time. Also, take care of as much as possible before the wedding day. I spent a lot of time prior making sure all the projects were done, people knew where to be, etc. and if anything went wrong or didn’t get done the day of, I knew I had already done everything I could so there was no point in worrying or having regrets. Having a great point person is also key.

I ADORE the fact that these two could toss the idea of having a standard theme wedding, and came up with their own! Those weddings always turn out to be the best ones…and this is no different. So sweet :)

I can’t believe the iPad is in a wedding!!! What!
Where did they ever find those hangers? I have been looking everywhere for something like that for my wedding!!

I love this post! Beautiful wedding.
Where did the bride get the hangers? I would love to have it for my wedding. Thanks!
What a cute couple! That painted tree with the guest names is very creative!!
Can someone tell me the turquoise font?
THX!
@Kristen & Jackie: I got the hangers from http://www.etsy.com/shop/lilafrances
@Feli: There isn’t a font, sorry! I made those and it’s just my “handwriting” through Adobe Illustrator.
Thanks for all the kind words everyone!!!
