Thank you for posting this well-thought-out timeline!
It is very accurate to how much time is actually needed for capturing all the important images throughout the day. In addition, it gives the bride and groom time to "experience" their day without having to rush and run!
I also love the "tip" for a clean hanger for the detail of the dress - perfect!
Thank you so much. This is very helpful.
I like that you suggest toasts after salads. If you get a 5 page best man toast, or a long series of toasts, it makes dinner take way too long. You guys didn’t leave much time for photography, though. If the ceremony is at a different location from the reception, there isn’t a lot of time to get that entire list of photos done and to get some artistic ones as well. All pictures done before the wedding helps this timeline out a lot more. And having a nice hanger for the dress is a wonderful idea as well!
I think all of your tips are very helpful. This is truly a wonderful post. It really helps give everyone a realistic time line of how everything will work on the day of the wedding! Wonderful!

Great thing to keep around until my wedding day.
Very helpful, thank you!
Great share. I do provide these to my clients, one things we hate to call it though: Staged Meeting. It sounds so not romantic which is the opposite of what they are! I use First Look. I’ve never had a couple regret doing one!
i agree .. i changed it to Pre Ceremony First Look (:
[...] A wedding timeline/schedule from The Wedding Chicks: This might help some of you who love to plan-plan-plan (like me)! Of course, I always help my clients come up with a realistic time frame for photos… and I hardly ever take as long as this says, but it gives you great things to think about when it comes to timing out your big day! It has templates for seeing each other before the ceremony or a more traditional wedding day schedule. [...]
