I hope that everyone had a nice holiday, I personally enjoyed the down time. I did, however, manage to get a couple of wedding related things done. The first being our save the dates.

I don’t think that save the dates are a necessity for everyone, it seems to be something else added on to the rising cost of weddings. Anyhow, being that 75% of our guests are from out of town, we plan on sending them out, but neither of us wanted to spend a lot of money on them.

We ended up going with vistaprint, they have a special going on right now for 100 free postcards, you can get standard size or oversized, depending on what you are looking for. They also have tons of templates that would do nicely for a wedding.

We ended up choosing these: all for the price of shipping only, a whopping $6.49!!!!! Hopefully, they won’t be terrible, but for a few bucks it was worth a shot!
