Why do I want to shoot your wedding?
It’s important to me that my photographs will always look classic to my couples even when they look at them 20 years down the line. What I love is finding couples who are down-to-earth with a sense of humor because that makes having a genuine connection with my couples easy. It’s through that connection that I can begin to tell your wedding story. I always offer engagement sessions as it helps me get to know you and allows me to see firsthand how you are with each other. So when it comes time for the actual wedding day, I know how to tell your story and you’re comfortable with me. I use my sense of humor a lot when I’m shooting to help you feel relaxed and at ease. That allows me to capture real emotions, my favorite being laughter. (You can’t stage a laughing moment!) Laughter helps you relax and takes your mind off the fact that you’re getting their photo taken. And of course, I want you to have fun on their wedding day because the more fun you are having, the less you’ll notice me, allowing me to truly capture your day. I often find myself grinning like an idiot when I go through the photos after the wedding because my couple’s happiness is contagious. Through my photos, I want to spread that contagious happy feeling to all my couples and their friends and family! After all, isn’t sharing that love the point of having a wedding?
