Make a List And Check it Twice

From the Bride: Honestly, there is not one thing I wish I had done differently on the day of the wedding. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! If i could have slowed the hands of time down a bit that would have been nice. Time seemed to fly that day! I am extremely detail oriented, I had a notebook full of “lists”. My best friend and I checked the lists off 2 days before the wedding so there was nothing to worry about.

A Photographers Dream

From Freestone Photography: We love a bride with who loves color, has great attention to detail, and appreciates the goodness of a southern fall wedding! Kori’s ivory lace dress and Chip’s navy blue & gingham suit among the late fall foliage made this photographer so happy! The newlyweds treated their guests with cider & donuts before dinner! Then made s’mores around a bonfire after dinner and dancing!

A Bit of Advice

From the Bride:
My advice to future brides would have to be 3 fold:
1. Prioritize – what is most important to YOU and your Fiance (not everyone else)
2. Plan- and do research and if you are not a planner, find someone you trust who is.
3. Party! whatever your idea of party is ….enjoy it, it’s your day.

A Sister and a Photographer

I have to say it was one of my most favorite and memorable weddings. I am partial as it was my little sister who got married. We had waited for this day to come and I was so thankful for the man she was marrying. On her wedding day I also had the honor to be her matron of honor and stand up with her. Daylene was the other photographer who allowed this possibility as she covered the ceremony.

Step Back And Look Around

From the Bride: My best piece of advice for future brides is advice that one of my best friends gave me before my wedding. She told me to take a few moments throughout the day to literally step back from all the action and just look around and remember how we felt.

Beautiful Wedding Memories

We are so fortunate to have had an immense amount of help from my family who not only hosted the wedding but who are so incredibly talented and literally brought our vision to life. We got married in the middle of a field that I grew up running through, surrounded by our favorite people, and danced the night away under lights and a gorgeous chandelier on a handmade wooden dance floor.

Get Married at Your Favorite Place

From Jamie D Photography: Laura will tell you that her parents farm where she grew up is one of her most favorite places on earth and will always feel like home. Though she and her husband met and live in Colorado, she could not imagine a better place to get married than on their forty acre farm. Family and friends spent countless days getting Misty Glen Farm wedding-ready, and it looked nothing short of amazing.
